Honoring Our Founder: A Champion of Sustainable Ecotourism in Nepal
We are proud to celebrate our founder, Doma Paudel, who has been awarded the Bob & Jang / Xavier Academy Conservation Award 2025 in Kathmandu. Some media outlets coverage on this were TheTourismTimes, TourismMail, EduCast Nepal and so on.
As Nepal’s first female naturalist guide and the visionary behind Nepal Dynamic Eco Tours, Doma has been a trailblazer in sustainable ecotourism and community-based conservation. Her leadership reflects a deep belief that tourism — when grounded in respect for people and nature — can become a force for meaningful, lasting change.
Through her many initiatives, including local training programs, youth and women’s empowerment, and the Wildlife Victim Fund, Doma has championed a model of tourism that revives ecosystems while uplifting local livelihoods. Her efforts connect environmental education with hands-on conservation, inspiring communities to safeguard Nepal’s extraordinary biodiversity and take pride in their natural heritage.
This award not only honors Doma’s lifelong dedication but also reaffirms the values at the heart of Nepal Dynamic Eco Tours:
Sustainability is not a choice — it is the foundation of every meaningful journey.
Together, we continue her mission to create a future where exploration nurtures both people and the planet.
